CROCK POT ROAST

Ingredients

  • 1) 2 1/2# RUMP ROAST

  • 2) 2 TBSP CORNSTARCH

  • 3) 1 TBLS. DRY TAPIOCA-STARCH

  • 4) 10 CLOVES MINCED GARLIC, YES I SAID 10

  • 5) 3 LARGE CARROTS PEELED AND SLICED IN ROUND DISCS

  • 6) 1# TINY RED POTATOES

  • 7) 2 CUPS LITE BEEF BROTH

  • 8) 1 TBSP. BALSAMIC VINEGAR

  • 9) 2 TBSP. ONION FLAKES OR I WHOLE ONION DICED

  • 10) 1/2 TEA. BLACK PEPPER

Directions

  1. 1) POUR BEEF BROTH INTO CROCK-POT AND ADD CORNSTARCH AND TAPIOCA. WHISK UNTIL THROUGHLY BLENDED.

  2. 2) ADD DRY INGREDIENTS AND VINEGAR, WHISK THROUGHLY. ADD MEAT, TURN OVER IN POT TO GET ALL THE INGREDIENTS ALL OVER BEEF CUBES. ADD REST OF THE VEGIES, MIX THROUGHLY WITH MEAT AND SPICES. COVER AND COOK ON LOW FOR 8 HOURS OR UNTIL GRAVY HAS THICKENED.

Thank you so much craftbaby. That is a wonderful refcipe, I love crock pot recipes too. Change what you need to. No recipes is set i n stone, it's just a guide line and you add your special touch to it. I have a bunch of low cal crock pot recipes I'll add. I just started a discussion to the fact no one response to recipes or news articles. So thank you so much. Hope yoy had a Merry Christmas, Valentine Lady

Sounds great and I'll use it next month even though I'll have to change a few things to fit my diet and the amount, as I don't need 8 servings. My Crock-Pot is my best friend in the kitchen and is used every week for a few daily meals that I prepare on my Saturdays so I don't need to cook during the week, other than to heat up. Thanks for adding to my collection of recipes.
